Valerie,
I think the cannon in the back of the pick up truck is actually friends of ours. They belong to a Canadian re-enacting group called the Glengarry Light Infantry. The unit the represent were involved in the battle of 1812. There are some graves of Glengarry soldiers at a cemetery in Perth. A couple years ago, some teenagers destroyed the head stones, and defaced the graves. There was a rededication of the graves, and our friends were there to represent the Glengarry unit.
